I never have to make or buy tags because a million charities out there send me a million tags each year. :-/ I want to make my own, really!

I've been pretty awful the past few years. I've cut square pieces of paper and slapped names on them. My kids never care though, they just rip through their gifts anyway. This year I'm going to TRY and get pretty tags done, it is the least I can do with all this stampin up stuff I've accumulated. LOL!

You crack me up! It is disheartening when ppl tear up the paper without bothering to look at the wrapping and tag. My ds#1 has the opposite problem: he opens the pkg very carefully so it doesn't tear and we can save it to reuse it. It drives everyone else nuts because it takes him forever to open a present. I have to admit he got that habit from me (except I'm faster at it). ;)

That is a really good habit. I should set an example here at home and do more of that. Each year we go through so much wrapping paper, it is quite a shame to just tear it off and toss it. Your a great mom!

Thanks, M...and so are you! :)

I also like sewing my own bags that can be reused.

Hmmmm... that gives me an idea actually. Since bags are reusable it would be great to find a pattern for different sizes that close then I could work on those for next year and get rid of paper altogether. They are selling some cloth santa bags for a few dollars at Michaels this yr too. Hmmm... good ideas T, keep them coming. I am soooo done with all this wrapping paper. Arg!
